Powershield 8125
Polyimide Mica Tape

Powershield 8125, The Mica Tape is made up of Phologophite Mica Paper and

Polyimide film for single sided reinforced, coupled by high property

silicone adhesive. It shows excellent electrical and mechanical strength with

 good flexibility at high temperatures, widely used for coils insulation in C-class

 traction motors and other special motors.

Application Information
This material is used as ground insulation in AC and DC framework form wound coils, as

 well as layer, turn and barrier insulation in dry type transformers. Other usable

applications in which high temperature flexible and high dielectric insulation with the

corona resistance required.

 
Shelf Life
Six months under normal conditions of 20 +/- 15°C and 65 +/- 20% RH.
