Heat
Shrink Sleevings |
SITAVLIV Heat Shrink Sleevings are made up of thermally
established cross
link Polyolefin duly cross linked, specially designed
formulation to ensure the
sleeve meets the UL specification including Railway
specification
No. CLW/ES/I-15. SITASLIV retains the transparent nature and
flexibility after
heating and shrinkage. It can sustain adequate stress at the
cable ends and does
not tear off easliy.
Application
1. Protection covering of Cable identification numbers fixed
on each end of
the Cable
2. Insulating Cable Sockets
3. Protection of Cable Insulation and sheath from Tropical
weather conditions
4. Insulation and harness of Cables
5. Corrosion proof of metallic rods or tubes
6. Antenna Tube Protection
Method of Use
SITASLIV-HS is cut to the required length and slipped over the
cable end. The
sleeve is then heated between 120°C
- 150°C yielding SITASLIV-HS shrink
evenly and tight fit on the cable and
socket. The size/bore of the SITASLIV-HS
is to be chosen as per the diameter of
the cable and socket for good result.
Available Colours
Clear and Transparent, however other colours are available
subject to minimum
order quantity.
